December

Well to start off the month Jason went to Japan for 2 weeks. So that gave me time to get presents wrapped and shipped. I also did my usual volunteering at the Utah Olympic Oval for the Long Track competition. We then headed to Maryland for Christmas with the Wiscott's and Averno's.

November

Well I'm a little behind this month. I was trying to think if we did anything exciting, and the only thing I came up with was:

Jason got the

yep at it took him down hard. But he is all better and I didn't get it.

We had a nice Thanksgiving with our friend Justin & Maylinn Christensen and Justin's brother Ty. Justin, Maylin, and Jason did a 1/2 day of skiing. And I did a 5k Turkey Trot to benefit the Utah Food Bank. And no I didn't get hurt and I finished in 33:04. Not bad for not running for ever.

September

For the first week of September Jason was in Nashville TN for a seminar. He visited lots of country bars and got to attend a pre-season NFL game. Titan vs Green Bay.

As most of you know Jason and our friend Jeff Powles went to Alaska 2 summers ago on their motorcycles. Well since then they have wanted to do something else together. MANTRACKER on the Science Channel. Check out the link below this is their application, no word yet if they were choosen. So keep your fingers crossed that they get in.

The best news for me was I got out of the walking boot, the dr though has advised me to stop running. So Jason being the great husband bought me a Wii fit for my bday. So far doing that and walking has helped.

Summer is coming to an end

Since the summer is almost to an end I guess its time to update the blog:

June:
Jason's parents came out for a visit the first of June. I headed to Indiana for Vickie's 9th dance recital. Jason went fishing at Flaming Gorge twice, once for the maidan voyage of the Jeff's boat and then with our neighbor Bill and his son Zach. June was also our 11th anniversary we headed up to Homestead Resort in Heber UT. We went swimming in the crater that is a 55-foot tall, beehive-shaped limestone rock that nature has hollowed out and filled with 90° to 96° water.

July:
Jason and Sandy took a weekend and headed out on a motorcycle ride heading down to 4 corners. Pictures from their adventure: First night camping in Moab, UT. Uray, CO Box Canyon Waterfalls. The four corners monument CO,AZ,UT,NM. As the boys said a waste of time. At the temp was 109.
Sandy being funny Frye Canyon.

And this is how I have spent most of my summer since July 11. I ended up having 3rd degree sprain and 2 hairline fractures in the ankle bone. But at least my toes look good I had them done the day before.

SBK Miller Sports Park

This past weekend we joined our friend Mike and his girlfriend Jen for Superbike races at Miller Sports park in Tooele. Since Mike races he was able to get us passes for the weekend. If you notice the white canvas changes into a painting he was painting during a silent auction we attended. Also the riders sitting in the chairs were: Ben Sipes, Melissa Parks,
